The Abstraction Vase series is part of my paintings in the round exploration. Highly experimental and expressionistic in style, each vase is painted using a combination of tinted porcelain slips onto the forms. This recent series includes shades of taupe, cobalt blue, charcoal, hues of pink, mint and soft grey as a palette. This vase measures 9” tall and 4.5” wide at the base, tapering up. Glazed both inside and left matte on the exterior, this vase is water-tight for flowers. Please handle with care and wash in lukewarm water as it is a piece of art.
